The house stands on a plot of about 5,200 m2, in the southern part of the urbanization, and enjoys stunning views both of Madrid and the regional park of the Cuenca Alta del Manzanares, as well as the mountains.
The distribution of the house is as follows:
Main floor: It consists of an entrance hall with a guest toilet and checkroom, which leads to an area of three offices (one of them with a custom-made bookcase) and a huge inner courtyard of 64 m2, which serves as a distributor for the rest of the rooms. It is covered by a glass and aluminum skylight that provides a large amount of natural light and can be opened, allowing a cross-ventilation system throughout the building.
Around the courtyard is distributed the essential part of the house (living room, dining room, kitchen, and bedrooms). The living room, of 63 m2, has a fireplace and three distinct environments and gives access to the kitchen, the dining room, and a glazed terrace. The sleeping area includes a master bedroom with en suite bathroom, dressing room, and private lounge, two children's bedrooms with en suite bathroom and loft, and a fourth bedroom with dressing room and en suite bathroom.
Upper floor: It consists of an interior gallery around the courtyard, which opens to an Arabic style living room, a library, a solarium terrace of 43 m2, and another terrace of 52 m2, located above the roof, around the outside of the skylight, from which there are breathtaking 360º views.
First floor: It is articulated around a meeting room with a fireplace (txoco) of 124 m2, which includes a fireplace, kitchen, toilet, and games area (billiards and ping pong). The living room opens onto a large porch of 63 m2 and a part of the garden that includes a barbecue and wood oven. It is connected by two large sliding doors to a gym and relaxation area with a 1600 liter jacuzzi and compensation tank, Turkish bath, and sauna. The floor is completed with a multipurpose room (50 m2) and the service and equipment area, which includes two storage rooms, a boiler room, and decalcifier, laundry and ironing room, and a service bedroom with a bathroom, and a garage for four cars.
The garden has a swimming pool, paddle court, and gazebo.
The heating is by gasoil. The qualities are high and the peculiarities of the construction (with a structure of steel beams and no load-bearing walls) make any reform easy.
